Clinique all about eyes Review...
Before I get to the review, I just wanted to say a big hello to all my new followers (and my old ones, of course!) I couldn't believe it when I saw that I'd got to 101 today, so I am thrilled to say the least! I've only been blogging since 1st October 2010, so I'm really happy with how it's coming along. Thank you once again! xx
Now - on to the review!
I love this eye cream, so I couldn't believe it when Glamour magazine gave some away! I bought 4 issues to get a total of 20ml (which is equivalent to 1.3 full-sized pots!)
Here's the one I'm using at the moment
Aside from Creme de la Mer The Eye Concentrate, this is my all-time favourite eye cream! Clinique also make a 'rich' version, but I don't think I need that just yet : )
I apply this morning & night and the texture is lovely... think a refreshing, moisturising gel-cream. It sinks in quickly and leaves no greasy residue. I apply it after Clinique All About Eyes Serum (which I only use in the morning - my eyes are a bit puffy at 6am!) and it's the perfect combination.
It's also good if you're concerned about the effects of removing your eye makeup and any rubbing that may occur. However, if you're suffering from visible fine lines as well as circles or puffiness, then you might benefit from the 'rich' version.
I've been using my first 5ml jar for almost 2 weeks and it looks like I haven't touched it! You really do only need a tiny amount - never overload your eye area with cream or else you could end up with puffy eyes & or those tiny white bumps under the skin (which are a nightmare to have removed). Remember that less is more when it comes to eye cream!
When (sorry, I mean if!) the warmer weather arrives in the UK, I'm planning on storing this in the fridge so that I can really zap any puffiness!
Have you tried this eye cream? Did you buy a silly amount of Glamour magazines to do so? : ) x
