MAC Sheen Supreme lipstick in Supremely Confident... Review...
When I went to the MAC counter recently, in addition to the Viva Glam Gaga 2 range, I also bought one of their newest products:
Sheen Supreme Lipstick...
I went for the shade 'Supremely Confident' which is a pale pink-nude. The above photo was taken with the flash and as you can see, it looks different to their normal lipsticks.
The lipstick itself is also a new formula. It has the feel of a balm, the look of a gloss and the coverage of a lipstick. It's perfect for you if you just want one does-it-all product.
My lips are naturally very red, so here's how it looks on me...
This is how it looks (with the flash) worn with no additional lipstick/lip plump/balm/gloss. I have tried this with Benefit Lip Plump as a base and it comes out a more nude shade. Without that, this turns a pretty pale pink. Goodness knows how I applied it this well - I didn't have my mirror to hand so I quickly applied it for photo purposes! Perhaps it's just one of those things I can naturally do after 15 years of wearing lipstick : )
One last photo...
The other shades in the range didn't appeal to me as they are mostly reds, corals, plums & pinks. This shade is the palest and the only thing close to nude.
I really like this lipstick - it's very moisturising and gives lips a nice sheen. However, as it's quite sheer, you may need to re-apply it more often that you would a normal lipstick. By wearing a base such as lip balm & Benefit Lip Plump, you'll find it will last longer. All-in-all, this lipstick gets a thumbs up from me!
Each ones costs £13.50 and you can see the full range of shades here.
Have you bought any of these lipsticks? Can you recommend any other shades? x

I have actually wanted to try this product for a while (not in the same colour though, although this colour is nice!!), but haven't. Probably because we dont have a MAC near me. :(

@The Norwegian Girl... I was worried that it would look too pale (as it's very light in the tube) but it's lovely. So glad you like it too :) x
