Topshop Eyeshadow Palette in Petrol Review...
I got this in the sale from Topshop last week and this is the eyeshadow palette in 'Petrol'...
It was a total bargain at just £3 instead of £12!
As the packaging isn't marked with a name (only the colours are printed on the bottom) I thought I was picking up 'Beetle' but when I got home I found I'd bought this... oops! I'm going back to the store in a couple of days time so fingers crossed they will have the other palette.
'Petrol' contains 5 complimentary shades, which remind me of peacock feathers. If you like your blues & purples, this is the palette for you!
The shades are:
As the shades come up quite sheer when swatched, please look at how they are in the palette as this is the most accurate. Sadly the shades aren't that pigmented and the swatches rubbed off my hand with no effort at all. This is a bit disappointing so I'm glad the palette was only £3!
The shimmery cream shade looks like it would make a great base colour and it also comes with a handy little leaflet to show you how to create a great look using each colour...
The palette also comes with a sponge applicator and a built-in mirror, so it's perfect for popping in your make-up bag.
If you want to get this palette it's still available on the Topshop website and you can check it out here
Sadly, they don't have any of the 'Beetle' palettes left online, but they might still be available in store.
Have you bought this palette or did you get 'Beetle'? x
