FOTD with MAC Cremeblend Blusher...
I meant to do this post at the weekend, but I didn't wear the blusher - oops! So, I took a photo before leaving for work this morning...
This is one of MAC's new cream blushers, which I bought on my shopping trip to Bristol a couple of weeks ago.
I chose 'So Sweet, So Easy' and it really is both of those things!
This is how it looks in the pan without the flash. It disappeared when I used the flash! The colour is actually hot-pink (how it appears on my cheeks) and it goes on like a dream.
For today's FOTD, I used:
Face
* Clinique Anti-Blemish liquid foundation
* Clinique Stay-Matte Sheer pressed powder (t-zone only)
* MAC Pro Longwear Concealer (under eyes & around nose)
* MAC Cremeblend Blush in So Sweet So Easy
* MAC MSF in Soft & Gentle (on forehead, nose & chin)
Lips
* MAC Viva Glam Gaga 2 lipstick
* MAC Myth lipstick
Eyes
* MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack
* Rimmel Lash Accelerator mascara in Black
I applied the blusher with a Pout blusher brush. The short bristles mean that dabbing the blusher on takes no time at all. If I use my fingers, it takes ages to build up the same intensity. Seeing as I'm short on time in the morning, this method is perfect. The colour also lasts all day, so it's well-worth £17. I'm tempted to check out the other colours in the range, but they're limited edition, so I'd better be quick : )
I've always been wary of cream blushers in the past, but using Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions as a base ensures that I get the coverage I need and by dabbing the product on top with a brush means I don't wipe off any of the foundation. Plus, I get to "set" my foundation on my t-zone, so I get the best of both worlds! I really recommend doing that if you have combination skin like me.
I hope you're having a good week so far - I promise to be a better blogger this week! x
