Liz Earle Men's Cleanse & Polish Review

As you know, I've been using Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish for the past few weeks now and I love it. I've never known a product that claims to remove all your make-up and actually live up to that claim! Considering it only costs £13.25 for a starter kit, it's doubly impressive.

After hearing me raving about it and seeing what it does, my husband was intrigued to try the men's version (not that he wears make-up, but he was impressed with how it removed mine!)

It arrived beautifully wrapped...

I love how the men's products come wrapped in aubergine-coloured tissue paper and women's products come in a duck-egg blue. There is such attention to detail, which really makes the products look more expensive than they are.

He got the Starter Kit and here's how it looks...

The packaging is also purple - purple-trimmed cloths and a mini wash-bag. The Cleanse & Polish bottle itself is a taupe colour, which I love as it makes a great contrast against the purple.

He has been using it for a couple of weeks now and he likes using it. He finds it a cinch to use and the scent is pleasant. I don't know about you, but if your other half is anything like my husband, he likes his products to be simple and functional. No faffing about or "girlie" scents ; ) He uses 1 pump in the morning and then 1 pump at night.

If you're looking for a skincare gift for the discerning man in your life, I can really recommend this. I think it looks much better than the usual men's products you see on sale and the understated packaging gives it a really luxurious look. It will seem as though you've spent a lot on the gift when you actually haven't! : )

The Starter Kit is a great buy at just £13.25 and if you'd like to treat your boyfriend / husband / brother / dad / friend then you can buy it here.

Will you be treating the man in your life to some Cleanse & Polish? x

  2. My hubby usually steals my cleanse & polish, he uses it for shaving, the annoying thing is he doesn't tell me about it and I run out weeks before I'm expecting too x

  5. @Skin Scrubs... men make the perfect guinea pigs! :) x

@Jude... He was threatening to do that with mine, so I had to hide it just in case he was tempted! I really need to get some more for myself :) x

@KylieDee... he really enjoys using it & he's good at putting the muslin cloths in the wash every couple of uses. He's well-trained!! :) x

@Ms Red... I got him some No7 but he wasn't keen. He's used Clinique in the past, but he likes this :) x
