Herbal Essences Smooth & Soft Collection Review...

I went to Sainsbury's today and when I saw that these were on offer (buy one, get one free!) I snapped them up...

This packaging is limited edition and is only available on bottles sold in Sainsbury's.

I bought the shampoo & conditioner and each one is 400ml, which will last a long time!

I don't normally buy Herbal Essences (I used to when I went to school!) but this range really appeals to me as Winter seems to be playing havoc on my hair. In Summer it's sleek, but the combination of cold weather and central heating is making it frizzy!

Containing mandarin oil and pearl extract, this shampoo & conditioner claim to transform hair from flyaway to silky soft. It also claims to give anti-humidity protection, so I can't wait to try them.

A little close up of the bottles...

It sure beats a boring bottle! :)

As I've just had my hair coloured, I shall be trying a new combination of hair products. Starting tomorrow night (I like to leave it 48 hours before I wash my hair after having it coloured) I shall be trying Kerastase Chroma Sensitive (I got given 3x 15ml sachets so I'm looking forward to trying it), this shampoo & conditioner and then Pantene Colour Seal Concentrate. I'm really hoping that this will help keep my colour for longer. Follow up post if it does (or doesn't!)

Each of these are normally priced at £3.40 for 400ml.

Have you tried this range by Herbal Essences? x

  5. I haven't tried this particular range, but quite like Herbal Essence shampoos in general. I really liked their original shampoos before they designed the new shaped bottle. The shampoo I loved was the one which looked green in the bottle, I can't remember what it was called though. xx

Hopefully I will be able to find them here in Canada! Even if they aren't in that pretty packaging, I'd still love to try them out!
    Thank you for sharing this!
