5 Things I'm Lusting After!

My first 'proper' monthly salary is due in the bank on 28th March and I can't wait! As it's Mother's Day on Sunday 3rd April, I have booked Friday 1st April off work and am planning on taking my mum to Bristol for the day (plus a stop off in Bath for some Ben's Cookies on the way home!) This basically means a day of Harvey Nichols, LUSH goodies, a yummy lunch at Jamie's Italian, SpaceNK, MAC, Topshop and about a hundred other places! Basically, it will be bliss! :)

So, with that day out planned, I am trying to refrain from buying anything until then. I know, sounds like a real challenge doesn't it? It's only 5 weeks and the way this week's going, the day will soon arrive :)

Here are some items I am planning on getting come pay day...

1. Topshop Satchel

The colour combination on this bag is gorgeous! I spotted one in my local store last week and the contrast between burgundy and pale leather is just amazing. It's all leather, which means it smells good & looks good! It also comes with a long across-the-body strap and it's a perfect size for a day out shopping. It costs £45 and you can buy it here.

2. Kiehl's Creme de Corps

This is the largest size they do and it comes in a 500ml pump bottle. I would LOVE to get this size, but at £44, I can't really justify it :( There are other things I'd like to get, so I think I will have to satisfy my 'Creme de Corps' addiction and get a 250ml bottle instead :) If you would like to splash out on some of this, or would like to know more, you can do so here.

3. Leopard Print Ballerina Shoes from ZARA

These are the most stunning ballet flats I have seen in a long time & I adore them :) They're 100% leather and are lined in 100% cotton. They look like they're made of ponyskin and the leopard print itself almost looks real. I prefer a larger leopard print (rather than a small one) as it looks so much more expensive. The photo does not do them enough justice - in the 'flesh' they are 100x more beautiful. I want & need these fabulous shoes! They cost £39.99 and if you love them too, you can see more photos/buy them here.

4. NARS Calanque Trio Eyeshadow - Spring 2011 Collection

This is part of the latest NARS Spring 2011 collection and it's Limited Edition. I absolutely love the shades in this trio... it contains (from top to bottom) Rich Antique Bronze steeped with Gold, Light Matte Caramel and Gold-infused Platinum with Silver flecks. I cannot wait to test this at the NARS counter and I just hope they have one left for me! :) It costs £33 and you can buy it here.

5. Jo Malone Nutmeg & Ginger Bath Oil

There are so many yummy Bath Oils in the Jo Malone collection that I just can't decide which one I want! At £15 for a 30ml glass jar is a real treat and it will look gorgeous on the edge of any bath :) The above picture is for the Nutmeg & Ginger blend, but I also want to try Red Roses, Lime Basil & Mandarin... basically, one of each would be nice! ;) Personally, I love the 30ml glass jars as each one comes with a tiny black ribbon tied round the top. If you want to know more about the range of Bath Oils, you can check them out here.

There are many, many more items on my wish list, but I have to be restrained and get things gradually. Sadly, I don't have a Black Amex at my disposal! ;)

What's on your wish list? x

  3. @Miss EBlog.. they are, aren't they? :) and they look even better on! :) x

@JadeyLou.. they're the best aren't they? I always buy a load of 'Milk Chocolate Chunk' ones (they now do a massive box where you get 13 for about £11!) I haven't been to Bristol for a couple of years, but I love Cabot Circus! :) x
